They look very special like this - and reminded me immediately about this: http://little-people.blogspot.de/ So your sons' (son's? - do you know who did it?) creativity and your photographic eye could almost start a series of 'little toys'...
I love the little-people blog. This lego business is 100% Noah's invention, I watched him doing it. (Fritz was not too amused by it, perhaps because he has first-hand knowledge of the kind of mischief to which this leads?)
That's very cool! Are they glued? Or are they magnets? I've seen the magnet paint at the store that you paint under your color, but I haven't tried it. I think Baby Plum would like that, but Little Elvis probably wouldn't even realize it was there.
The legos are held on with painters tape. He figured it out how to make a little roll of tape - not quite sure how he figured that out - but he did, and then the tape is almost always smaller than the lego. ;-)

That is awesome. I totally want to start doing that. It looks super cool! And would distract from the tufts of cat hair floating around here.
Ha! Love it!
Wait, how? No, don't tell me because finding them on the floor is enough for me.
Hehe - So true, Shalini. So, so true.

Your son is a genius! Great idea. I may do that just to get my son to play with his legos again. He'd had fun finding them throughout the house.
